Watch Buying Checklist
If this is your first time buying a watch on eBay make sure you also read our guide on replica watches. When buying online, you don't have the advantage of looking at the watch in person, so you definitely want to get certain assurances from the seller if the watch is used.
By this point you should have familiarized yourself with eBay policies and how-to guide. Our objective is to ensure that you get what you want from Brand Name Watch Auctions and that you're happy with your decision. A satisfied customer for us hopefully means a repeat customer.
Most people who come to our site already know what kind of watch they're looking to buy. If you're not one of those people, don't worry, we have pretty much all the information you'll need to make a decision. We hope that you've read our short guides to get you thinking.
You'll need to know the following things:
1. The type of watch that I'm going to buy.
2. The brand I'm interested in buying (search our store pages to get ideas).
3. How much I'm willing to spend, including shipping costs.
If you've done all of that and you're ready to buy, we've done a bit of research to give you some broad estimates on how much certain types of watches can go for. We will strive to keep this information as up-to-date as possible for you. Please bear in mind that prices across all brands vary widely. Think of this list as the "average Joe's" list.
ABOVE ALL: when purchasing a watch, KNOW YOUR BRANDS and know what the watch is for.

Now why would a casual watch be more expensive than a dress watch? Remember, we're not accounting for the designer brand here. Typically, you'd wear a casual watch the most so it needs to be versatile and of good quality. Don't worry about paying more; it'll be on your wrist all the time. A dress watch is usually more dainty and fragile, and you'll be using it less frequently, so unless you specificly want to spend the money on a particular brand, price should be more of a concern than for casual watches. The main criterion is that it should look good. Most name brands have well-priced models that won't empty your bank account.
